Is this the best advice The Guardian can provide job seekers with?

I was flicking through online newspaper articles today and since the topic of high and rising unemployment figures are in constant circulation I came across The Guardian's very own article of their top ten list of things not to say in a job interview. Now at first glance I'm not sure if I find this article reassuring with the advice or just plain patronising. I just can't see someone turning around saying "Do I really have to wear that uniform?" or "You make widgets? I thought you made cricket bats." But, apparently people do. So maybe there is hope out there for us commonsensical people, after all.
